On the morning of August 16, 2019, Jin Aiwu, vice chairman of Lishui CPPCC and president of Lishui Agricultural Science and Technology Research Institute, led the students of the 2019 "Belt and Road" bamboo-producing countries bamboo industry technology training class to Zhejiang Apex Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Apex"). The visit took place at the Bamboo Research and Development Center of the State Forestry and Grassland Administration (hereinafter referred to as "Bamboo Center").
The training team explored the first phase of Apex's "600 ton/year Supercapacitor Activated Carbon Industrialization Project" production line. Dr. Chen Zaihua, General Manager and Chief Scientist of Apex, provided an in-depth introduction to the preparation process of supercapacitor activated carbon and addressed various questions from the trainees.
During a symposium, bamboo industry researchers from Nepal, Uganda, Tanzania, Pakistan, and other countries engaged in cross-national, cross-racial, and cross-linguistic discussions with Dr. Chen Zaihua. These exchanges delved into bamboo industry technologies, fostering an environment of knowledge sharing and mutual learning.
The trainees expressed their appreciation for the insights gained during the visit, noting that they had developed a deeper understanding of activated carbon for supercapacitors and its applications. The event concluded with a friendly group photo featuring Jin Aiwu, the trainees, and Dr. Chen Zaihua.
This training course aims to bolster exchanges and cooperation with "Belt and Road" countries in the comprehensive development of the forestry industry, particularly the bamboo sector.
